05 / Interactive web experiment
The_Blobs
A local desktop web experiment in which colourful procedural forms connect, merge, and separate as multiple browser windows move and interact.
- Status
- Working locally · in development
- Tools
- TypeScript / Three.js / Vite
- Focus
- Multi-window interaction
The idea
One field, revealed through separate windows.
Each browser window contributes its own coloured entity to a shared local session. Window contact can create a bridge; projected overlap can create a reversible fused group. The experiment is intentionally local-first and has no backend, accounts, analytics, or deployment configuration.
- 01Synchronise participants through a browser-local channel
- 02Derive contact and fusion as separate interaction graphs
- 03Render procedural strands, dots, bridges, and colour transitions
- 04Respect reduced motion and recover when windows move or close
Current evidence & limits
Working locally, not presented as a public demo.
The source includes focused tests for geometry, session behaviour, colour mixing, popup layout, and bridge flow, and local multi-window checks have been completed. Small refinements and broader browser/display testing remain before publication.
